Hudson Lake In a survey of Oklahoma bass tournaments, Lake Hudson was named as the number one lake in Oklahoma based on the number of successful anglers and the catch rate for bass over 5-lbs. Hudson Lake is well known for providing both excellent numbers and quality-sized black bass. Efforts are ongoing to increase the crappie population. Oologah Lake Oologah Lake's warm, fertile water create the perfect growing conditions for channel, blue and flathead catfish. These prime conditions also allow a variety of gamefish to prosper, and the previous state records for white bass and hybrid striper were caught in this lake. Anglers will also have success targeting white crappie. Skiatook Lake Skiatook Lake is a relatively new and developing lake, but has quickly earned a reputation for producing good numbers of quality largemouth bass in the 4 - 5-lb. class with some even pushing 9-lbs. and hybrid stripers in the 8-10-lb. range.
